Requirements and sizes
Nothing exotic. If Windows 10 21H2 or Windows 11 runs, so do we. Installers are signed EXEs; MSIX packages and winget manifests are available for managed machines.

Per-user installs by default; a machine-wide MSI is available for IT departments.
Apps work without internet. The only connections are the update check and, for paid editions, license validation.
Settings live in one folder under AppData; uninstalling removes everything except your documents.
How buying works
The studio
Gridwick started as a notes app one of us wrote for a law-firm job, because nothing on the market let you keep thousands of plain-text notes and search them in a blink. The PDF tool came from the same office. We still build for that kind of user: someone with a real workload, a Windows machine and no patience for subscriptions.
Every app is written in C# on .NET with native Windows controls, signed with our EV certificate and tested on Windows 10 and 11, including ARM laptops. Support is answered by the people who wrote the code.

This policy explains what Gridwick collects when you use this website or contact us about Gridwick Notes, PageForge PDF, ClipStack and our other Windows applications, why we collect it, who sees it and what rights you have — including the rights California residents hold under the CCPA/CPRA. Effective September 1, 2026.
The short version. We collect what you type into the contact form and the technical data any web server logs. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use analytics on this site. The only third party that can receive data from this page is Google, and only if you switch on the map in the contact section.

When you send the form we store your name, e-mail address, the message and the fields you filled in, the time of submission, the page parameters (for example a campaign tag in the address bar) and a shortened IP address. The record is kept on our server in a folder that is not reachable from the web, and a copy is e-mailed to support@gridwickapps.com. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of what was agreed. A hidden anti-spam field and a timestamp check are used to block automated submissions; no CAPTCHA provider is involved.
This site sets one strictly necessary cookie (gw_consent) to remember your cookie choices. Functional cookies from Google are set only if you enable the embedded map. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media plug-ins. Details, names and lifetimes are listed in the Cookie Policy.
We share personal information only with service providers that host our website and e-mail (acting on our instructions under a written contract), with payment processors when you buy a license (they receive what is needed to complete the purchase; we never see your full card number), and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CPRA.
Form submissions: 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted. Server logs: 90 days. License and purchase records: as long as your license is valid plus the period required by US tax law (currently 7 years). Cookie consent record: 6 months, stored in your browser only.
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, and object to a use you disagree with. California residents additionally have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we collect none), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights. To exercise a right, e-mail support@gridwickapps.com or use the contact form; we answer within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days with notice). We verify requests by replying to the e-mail address on file. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for written permission.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: we do not sell or share personal information. If that ever changes, this page will carry an opt-out link and we will honour the Global Privacy Control signal, which our cookie manager already reads.
This site and our software are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS. Form records are stored outside the web root with restricted file permissions; access is limited to the people who answer support. No method is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will notify you as required by Texas law.
Gridwick apps run locally on your Windows PC and do not phone home except to check for updates and to validate a paid license key (the request carries the key, the app version and the Windows build number, nothing else). Crash reports are sent only if you click “Send report”.
We will post changes here with a new effective date. For material changes we will also show a notice on the site for 30 days.
These terms govern your use of gridwickapps.com and the license under which you use Gridwick software. By using the site or installing our software you agree to them. Effective September 1, 2026.

The site describes our Windows applications, lists prices in US dollars (taxes are calculated at checkout by our payment processor according to your billing address) and lets you contact us. Product information is provided in good faith; we may correct errors and change prices or features, but changes never affect a license you have already bought. Content on the site is ours or used with permission; you may not copy it beyond what fair use allows.
Subject to these terms, Gridwick Software LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the licensed edition of our software (Gridwick Notes, PageForge PDF, ClipStack, LaunchLine, FocusBell, MarkPad) on the number of Windows devices stated for your plan (Personal: up to 3 devices you own; Pro: up to 5; Team: one device per seat). Free editions may be used without payment for personal and commercial purposes with the limitations shown in the app. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except where the law expressly allows it; remove notices; rent, lease or sublicense it; use it to build a competing product; or circumvent license checks. The software is licensed, not sold; we keep all rights not expressly granted. Updates within the same major version are included; major upgrades may carry an upgrade price, announced at least 30 days in advance. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these terms and do not cure within 15 days of notice; on termination you must uninstall the software. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
Licenses are sold through our payment processor; the processor’s terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are one-time or yearly as stated on the product card. Yearly plans renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel in your account or by e-mail before the renewal date; we send a reminder at least 14 days before renewal. License keys are delivered by e-mail within minutes of payment.
Support is provided by e-mail and through the contact form during business hours in Austin, TX (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Central/Eastern/Pacific as applicable). We aim to answer within one business day. Support covers installation, activation and bugs in the current major version; it does not cover custom development.
We warrant that for 30 days after purchase the software will perform substantially as described on this site. Your remedy is a fix, a replacement or a refund under the Refund Policy. Except for this warranty, the software and the site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, Gridwick Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from the site or the software, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim you agree to contact us and try to resolve the matter informally for 30 days. Claims that cannot be resolved may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Austin, TX, except that you may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. Consumers keep any non-waivable rights under the law of their state of residence.

We use no analytics, advertising, social media or cross-site tracking cookies, and no local storage for tracking. The consent cookie contains no personal information beyond a random identifier that lets us prove a choice was made.
On your first visit a banner offers “Accept all”, “Necessary only” and “Cookie settings”. No functional cookie is set before you choose. The Google map in the contact section stays a static placeholder until you allow functional cookies — either in the banner, in the settings dialog, or by clicking “Show the Google map”, which counts as consent for that category. Your choice is kept for six months; after that we ask again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as “necessary only” until you decide otherwise.
Click “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change categories or to withdraw consent, which deletes the consent cookie and reloads the page. You can also delete cookies in your browser: Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions), Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security).

Any one-time license or the first payment of a yearly plan bought through this site, within 30 days of the purchase date. Renewal payments can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal if the software was not used after the renewal date.
Send the form below or e-mail support@gridwickapps.com with your order number or license key. We confirm receipt within one business day and issue the refund to the original payment method within 5 business days; your bank may take a few more days to show it. The license key is deactivated when the refund is issued.
Licenses bought from resellers (their policy applies), volume Team licenses after keys have been distributed to more than one seat, and requests made after the 30-day window. We may refuse repeat refunds of the same product by the same buyer.
This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state.
